Baby of the Month Success for Barrett & Coe Sawbridgeworth
Congratulations to Mark Hopwood and baby Mohammed on their success in our Baby of the Month July 2017 competition. Mark’s image of Mohammed was a favourite with our professional photographers and mum’s judging panels. Thanks to Mark’s photography, Mohammed can now look forward to his winners presentation where he will receive his certificate and prize of a £100 Mothercare Voucher. Mohammed’s win means he has now secured a place in the Baby of the Year competition were he could win £5000!
Mark runs the modern and comfortable Barrett & Coe Sawbridgeworth studio. He specialises in Baby, Family, Pet and Makeover photography.
Mark says “I was in food retail for most of my working life and changed direction into photography with Barrett & Coe a number of years ago. I have a great time with baby photography, capturing precious moments with a happy baby brings joy to my day. I enjoy entering the prestigious Baby of the Month competition and try my best to produce a potential winner. It’s a pleasure when you tell can tell a Mum that their baby has won.
Baby appointments are 1.5 hours. This allows me enough time to get some good shots without rushing the session as the baby will need feeding, changing and recharging. My studio is set up for any type of shoot, whether it’s a baby or right through to a family session. There is a separate room for the Make-up Artist when I have a Makeover Session scheduled, along with a changing room for Family & Makeover Sessions. I particularly like it when whole families come back for a photographic session following a baby one they’ve had with me previously.”
The Barrett & Coe Sawbridgeworth studio is based within The Maltings conservation area, opposite Sawbridgeworth Railway Station. It is a short drive from Junction 7 on the M11. Sawbridgeworth Railway Station is on the main line covering Liverpool Street Station to Stanstead Airport & Cambridge. There is ample parking outside the studio and The Maltings is known for its many Antique shops. The River Stort is opposite the The Maltings and is a beautiful walk to Bishops Stortford. You could always tie your session with a day out for the family!
