We’re pleased to announce photographer Tom Hamling (Barrett & Coe Memories 2 Treasure) has achieved his first winning entry in the July 2023 Baby of the Month competition!
His image of baby Reya was popular with both our Photographer and Sponsor judging panels, and as a winner, she will receive a £50 Boots voucher, plus the chance to win £5000 in the 2023 Baby of the Year competition.
When asked about the win, Tom told us “It’s a real privilege to be entrusted with capturing images that can be enjoyed for years to come. I love interacting with the families in the studio and welcoming them back as their family grows. Whether it’s a newborn photoshoot, pet or family session we always try to ensure that everyone enjoys the whole experience as well as loving the final images.”
After dedicating 16 years to a career in retail management, Tom made a significant career transition in 2020, joining the team (his father-in-law and Andrew and mother-in-law Michelle) at Barrett & Coe Memories 2 Treasure.
Beyond photographing families, babies, and pets, his true passion lies in cherishing time spent with his loved ones (Tom is married with three children) and expressing his creativity through writing. This passion culminated in the publication of three children’s rhyming picture books!
