Photographer of the Week – Ruth Geraghty

Meet Ruth Geraghty, who is a March 2015 Baby of the Month winning photographer. Ruth started working at Barrett & Coe Kingston in July 2012, and has progressed well with her photographic skills, winning the Barrett & Coe Baby of the Year in 2013 and gaining her photographic Licentiateship in 2014.

Ruth says “I like that no two days are the same and I am meeting different families every day. It’s very satisfying being able to create something that they can keep forever. Baby images are great for parents to have because babies change so quickly. For me, it’s nice to see them change and develop their own personalities and I notice this when they come back for shoots as they get older. It makes it a lot of fun!”

The studio is just a 5 min walk from the heart of Kingston, with plenty to do in the town itself, and down by the river and parks, so families can incorporate a lovely day out in Kingston when coming booking in for their session.
