Congratulations to photographer Sonja Barnfield (Little Beans Baby Photography) who has achieved another winning image in the Baby of the Month competition!
Sonja’s entry of baby Donnacha proved popular with our Photographer and Mum judging panels in the June 2024 competition. Donnacha wins after his sister Fiadh won Baby of the Month in 2022. Donnacha can look forward to receiving a £50 Boots voucher and being part of the 2024 Baby of the Year competition, where they could win £5000!
Commenting on her win, Sonja told us: “It’s a real pleasure and a privilege to be trusted to capture a baby’s first professional portraits and to witness them growing up. It is a joy to watch their little personalities blossom when they come back again as big brothers and sisters and return for their birthday and Christmas sessions. There is nothing like a beautiful baby or giggling toddler to brighten up the day!
My purpose-built studio is in an amazing 400-year-old barn on a working farm, on the outskirts of the historic medieval city of Salisbury. The Little Bean studio is very easy to get to with plenty of free parking right outside the door. For energetic toddlers, we have our own little field for letting off steam and a beautiful woodland walk on the doorstep. The city is only a few minutes’ drive away with several parks, a stunning cathedral, the Fisherton Mill Art Gallery and Café and just in case your little one still has the energy to burn, there is also a popular soft play centre in the city.”
We look forward to seeing more winning images from Sonja in the future!

We have been really impressed with the whole experience at Little Beans and the flexibility around timings and shoots. Sonja has been so friendly, welcoming and great with our little girl. The photos are amazing and the memories will stay with us for a long time. Massively recommend anybody to have a shoot with Sonja, you won’t regret it.
